Your response didn't answer my question. There are 6 terminals in the control box. From left to right, where to the wires from the pump (red, white, black, and green) attach? The pump label is 230v, but it has a 110v cord. Where do I attach the 230 v wires, from left to right 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 to replace the 110v cord??

There are 6 terminals, the first, second and second terminals are ignored, and the third, fourth, fifth and sixth are connected to black, white, red and green in turn. As shown in the picture in the link: https://d2v0huudrf11kh.cloudfront.net/vevor-center-goods/4_1680060290028.jpg

The 4 wires of the water pump need to be connected according to the wiring diagram inside the control box cover, and then the black, white and green wires of the control box are connected to L1, L2 and PE respectively. does the 2 hp pump with external control box have an automatic shut off if the water level gets below the pump intake? i can't seem to get definitive info off of the website.

No, it doesn't have an automatic shut off. Therefore, be careful not to go lower than the water inlet, otherwise the motor will run dry and burn out.
