What is the difference between this one with the orange plate and the black plate? Does the orange plate replace the black plate machine?

Their basic principles are the same, the orange pressure plate is 36*26CM and the black one is 36*22CM.

It is made of high-quality steel plate with a thickness of 1.2CM.

can this press be used with steel clicker dies? Mine are 1 3/8" tall. I normally use them on 8/9 oz leather

This press can be used with steel clicker dies, but the cutting material cannot exceed 12mm.

What are the four screws for? I see the four holes they go into, but I do not understand their purpose.

The middle screw is used to secure the die, such as in a belt hole puncher. The four screw holes on the plate are also used to secure the die.
