The problem is that it is not enclosed so saw dust will get inside. If it's outside the saw you may get away with blowing it out. If it is under the saw where it is hard to clean avd gets buried with dust, it may be a problem. Otherwise it is just like any other 2 HP motor.

Have this motor on belt driven 10" table saw and it is easily stalled when doing simple cuts thru wood RPM OK but just stalls easily What can I do ?
