What is the closest you can get the feet of the ladder to the wall when extended? Is 25 inches possible? My loft is about 7' 4" high. Thank you.

If the floor space is only 25 inches, the stairs will not fit, and the floor must be 50 inches.

I see the maximum height of the ladder listed. Can this ladder be installed at shorter overall heights by removing individual steps? If so, how much shorter is the unit for each step that gets removed.
