We are unsure what you mean by “UBC”; our product only has a UVC indicator light. The operating mode is as described above.

A lit UVC indicator light means the germicidal lamp is operating.
It will light up as soon as power is turned on.
To turn it on, press and hold the lamp button for three seconds while the unit is off. Once on, it operates in a cycle of 1 hour on and 4 hours off; you can manually turn it on or off during this cycle. To turn it off while it is on, press and hold the lamp button for three seconds.
