I dont need the lock...using these on under bed drawers. Do they slide freely if never touching the yellow lever? So I could install them an inch back into hole {behind the drawer face} I know there are some out there without locks, but cost much more.much more.
The yellow lock handle functions as a lock, so you need to press the yellow lock handle when unlocking. Currently, the 250-pound models are all single-lock.

How ar e the M5 self-tapping screw supposed to work with wooden drawers? Thank you.
The screws need to be tightened and the heads should be close to the rails. In addition, if installed on a wooden drawer, the rails will not bear that much weight, and the screws will easily burst if the load is heavy. If you have requirements for the load, you can install a metal bracket.

What is the thread size of the fasteners that are included with the drawer slide? I'm building a wooden drawer set and need to know the size of the thread so I can buy the correct threaded inserts. Thank you
