Most of these panels have been moving to an all plastic approach and the last home installation I did for a larger home the box just couldn’t take it. In the end we made it work but in building my own house I realized I wanted something better. This seems to fit my concerns and has a very solid construction.

Great management kit for the home theater! I have a 100 inch tv for my home theater setup. The cables going to it from video game consoles to surround sound and various streaming devices was a nightmare! To make matters worse, the internet company also put the router in the movie theater room, so whenever I am watching a movie, I can see the router blinking. I'm glad I found this. I installed this in about 45 minutes, along with all the cables and tidying up the area. It's able to store all the excessive and long wires inside the wall. We did a flush install and painted the front of it black to match the wall. We had enough room to put the wifi router and additional HDMI cables in there as well. It's easy to install but you have to have the tool to properly cut the drywall. It fit between the studs. There are several knockouts that can be punched to make a hole for various cables. This is great for low voltage/communication wires. It functions well and hides all the mess. I would say it's a good value for the money.

Lots of options of size and shape, units are made of solid metal. It has various places to mount/attach. Holes are not punched out completely, which makes adding outlets, etc, a bit difficult. Ventilation is good enough for anything you would want to hide (low power streaming boxes, networking hubs, etc).

This media enclosure is a great way to tidy up a messy setup. It’s sturdy, has plenty of space, and looks clean once installed. The vented, hinged door is a nice bonus.

I used this for my internet modem, router, and switch, and it worked out great even though I had to surface mount it. Everything fits nice and snug. Only thing I’d change? I wish they made this size with a swing door for easier access.
