Great quality in stainless steel, not galvanized. Packaged nicely. I wish embed bolts were larger diameter. I will try them out. They shorted me a mounting plate, still missing.

I didn't need stainless for my application but the price for stainless was better than the main name brand in galvanized that has a monopoly on bracket hardware everywhere else. The brackets came with a massive bag of Philips head stainless hardware that I ended up not using as I wanted structural screws/lags to anchor into the wood and larger (company name I won't use) concrete screws to lock the base plate to the foundation. These are all laser cut from the factory and covered in a protective film if you need the shiny finish. They shipped in an extremely well padded box with each piece of each 2-part bracket being individually wrapped. Post base has a cover plate that further lifts the posl off of the ground so factor that into your overall post height. I deducted one star on ease of use as I wanted to use standard 1/2" concrete screws and anchor bolts but these base plates have a ~5/16"-3/8" hole (probably metric) to accommodate the hardware that shipped with the plates. (I opted not to use.) Stainless is notoriously difficult to drill through and I burned up several step bits to add center holes to 20 base plates. Even with going slow using a ton of pressure and coolant, stainless likes to work harden to become impossible to drill. Other than my particular issue, these post bases are perfect for dimensional 6x6 posts (5.5"x5.5") I had 2 posts that were rough sawn and true 6x6 that had to be shaved to fit but it all worked out.

had only one issue had to redrill the holes larger to fit anchors and was very difficult to drill through stainless steel. suggestion maybe to put larger holes thanks

These are a fraction of the price of the name brand galvanized ones. The edges are sharp and it took me an hour to pull the plastic off of them. I bought a second set for future use.

These aren't as heavy duty as Simpson Strong-Tie and won't meet the uplift load requirements for many building codes, but for a deck, handrail or a shed, these are a good option. The quality is actually decent for the price. These are made of 15 gauge stainless as opposed to the 12 gauge steel Simpson Strong-Tie uses.

Good quality and durable. Have only used twice in the last few months, so time will tell. I would recommend.

These were ordered due to the cost of name brand versions costing more per piece than I was getting for 4... So the problem is the hardware included is trash. Expected not to use that so no loss there. I wish they would drill or cut the holes larger to fit a normal sized 1/2" or 5/8" anchor bolt since that is what is truly needed here. I ended up drilling the two holes larger for the back up plate and cutting the slot larger to fit a 1/2 anchor bolt and these worked great. Being stainless, they are a pain to drill through, but doable with lots of pressure and some cutting oil. Used a fiber disc to open the slot bigger on the post base since the drill bit would just catch the edges of the slot and bend it violently. Overall, the price was good and everything came packaged well. Threw away the "hardware" included. Wish there was also an option for larger beam sizes including sizes for rough cut lumber.
