I am using this as a backup for a freezer in a remote location and so far, it has worked perfectly. The fan is a little loud, but since I'm not there to hear it that doesn't matter. This is probably overkill, but since it is an older freezer the startup surge current is quite high and I'd rather err on the oversize side.
