What is the extra jaw/insert mounted on the backside of the jaw? Is that a replacement jaw?

This vice is really nice!! Like so many of Vevor's products, this is very good quality. The only issue was that it came in a cardboard box with virtually no padding. It weighing like 50lbs or so, the box got a hole in it during shipping and it lost one of the big bolts used to bolt it to the table. That's not a big deal; my son is bringing me a 1/2" x 2" bolt and nut. I bolted it to the end of my Northern Tool work bench and it looks great. I'm certain it will be a wonderful, useful tool in my shop.

This a great little vise. Mounted it to my bench as soon as it arrived. Even came with the bolts.. I used it to touch up my chain saw and it worked perfectly to clamp the bar. I turned around and ordered it's big brother the 61/2 model.

The vice is heavy and looks and feels to be made of quality material. Haven’t got it on the workbench yet, but I think it will work great for my intended use and it looks like it will hold up to anything I’m going to put it though. I thought it was well priced to for its size.

I saw this vice which was the ideal size for my needs. It arrived in just a few days and was much heavier than I had anticipated , which is a good thing as I needed a substantial vice. I attached a block of 4x4 wood to the base which means I can drop it into the wood work bench vice and have a very solid work holder. A quality product with no issues .
