Plus, it is suggested to set 3.5 hours when distilling 1.1 Gal (4 L) water. In this way, some water will remain at the bottom at the end of distillation, which can effectively reduce limescale.
  • Precise Temperature Display: Our countertop water distiller is designed with an intuitive control panel, displaying the setting temperature, which ranges from 30℃ (86℉) to 108℃ (226.4℉). It allows you to better control the distillation process. Besides, from the comfort of the dry-burning protection, it will stop heating when the temperature exceeds 115℃ (239℉), and shut down automatically when it is over 150℃ (302℉).
  • Selected Materials & Fast Heat Dissipation: All the parts that come into contact with water adopt food-grade 304 stainless steel, including the internal tank, inner cap, and water outlet. The 1.1 Gal (4 L) glass carafe with silicone buffer won't crack or break easily. It can store the distilled water longer than those plastic ones. A built-in 4-blade aluminum fan as well as the SUS 304 condensing coil is durable enough to ensure rapid heat dissipation and extended service life.
  • User-Friendly Accessories: To provide you with a better using experience, we kindly offer a bottle of cleaning powder and 3 pieces of replaceable carbon packages. It is hassle-free to clean the internal tank with the cleaning powder. The limescale can be minimized if you leave some water at the bottom at the end of each distillation. Installing the carbon pack at the water outlet can further purify the distilled water and adjust its taste.

I purchased this so that I could distill water for my carnivorous plants instead of hauling disposable plastic jugs home from the grocery store. It works GREAT. I only wish that I'd spent a bit more for the higher end unit.

We use distilled water for a humidifier and CPAP machine. This machine was easy to set up and start using right away. If you have hard water it does need cleaning after every use, unless you're ok with a lot of build up inside. We use filtered water and clean it after every use, it's way easier than letting the residue build up. I do wish the power cord from the bottom unit to the top unit was longer, but that's pretty minor. Also would be nice if a few more carbon filters were included. It can take up a fair amount of counter space and its not great for putting it under a cabinet since it gives off some heat, not a ton, but something to be mindful of.

Takes about 3 hours to get about a gallon of distilled water. Totally worth the wait. If you have a CPAP or. BiPAP machine in your house this thing will pay for itself in no time. If you’re using distilled water for a humidifier, it’ll pay for itself even faster.

What a money saver. I use three to five gallons of distilled water a week. This distiller will pay for itself in no time considering my time and gas spent getting gallons each week and now I don’t have to break my back hauling them into the house. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone that must use distilled water.

In my neck of the woods it costs .23 cents to make 1 gallon of distilled water. way cheaper than buying it. There is some labor involved in it, but well worth it in my opinion. have made about 35 gallons so far with no problems.

This distilled water maker is great. Works like a charm. Using it for many distilled water needs (iron, steam mop, coffee maker, etc.). Because it is priced so well, I will "break even" in less than six months (versus buying distilled water at grocery store). My only slightly negative comment is that the instructions were not as complete as I thought they could be (after carefully re-reading them, I was able to get the unit set up).
