My setup is 20 amp breaker 230 v would I need to change it to a higher amp breaker to us this motor ?

This requires a larger circuit breaker, which should be at least 75A. Then you should also check your circuit carefully to see if it can drive such a large motor.

Their shaft sizes are different, and the speeds must be the same. As the horsepower increases, your switch must also be enlarged, and the circuit breaker must be above 75A. It is recommended to check it.

The motor I'm writing the review for is the second motor I got from this company. The first one burned up due to my mistakenly ordering one to small. Their customer service was great. Direct fit for our 60 gallon Dewalt air compressor. Start switch lost a contact. Fell out of start switch and was rolling around in motor shell. Put is back and re-crimped it. Now have the original as a spare. Still running on Vevor motor great!
