My only complaint is that it does not come with extra Carbide Inserts. The set I got work great so far. I was going to get an extra set but the price went up.

This product was highly recommended by people with knowledge of how to use a wood lathe. They weren't hard to find but at much higher pricing.

They arrived today. I looked over them all very carefully, because I read that some people found the ferrules broken. Not so with these: they feel super solid and well-made. Heavier and more comfortable than my current tools, I look forward to trying them. One odd thing, though: there are TWO little tip-removal tools included, because the ROUGHER tip screw is a different type than the other three. Strange that they are not all the same, but anyway...

A big improvement over the high speed steel. Holds a sharp edge and clean cutting.
