Good sound for little beginners
Brown No Pattern 1/4 Type
This item is certainly a mass produced item, but for the young beginner it seems to be good quality and has good sound. Our order was for 1/10 size and sizing matched size charts we referenced. Our child has no trouble producing very good sound both plucking and with the bow. It must be tuned regularly, which isn't a surprise with any string instrument, but it is a very fine tuning process as it is so small. The shoulder rest included with the instrument doesn't suit our child, so we needed another style, but that is a personal preference.

Tuner
Brown No Pattern 1/4 Type
Needed a bigger size of violin for my child. This brand looks very pretty and affordable, good for beginners. However the music teachers would find it hard to tune the violin and would be out of tune after a while. I contacted the customer service earlier and they were very fast to respond. They will send a replacement for the tuner. Hope this solves the issue once we replace the tuner.

Color muy bonito.
El sonido es más grave que agudo. Eso me encanta.
2 cuerdas vienen "gastadas" . Es probable que se rompan rápido.
La pintura se queda pegada en la franela cuando lo limpian

Decent Instrument for the price. Seller is respectful and friendly
Brown No Pattern 1/4 Type
It looks like it’s in good shape. I’m a beginner and got it to learn. I did pop the A string while tuning it and mine didn’t come with the extra strings it’s supposed to but the seller worked with me to come up with a solution and I’m really thankful. The rosin that came with it was pretty difficult to work with but it’s useful for what it is. (it could have also been user error lol) All in all, I think it’s a pretty good instrument for the price.

Pretty little violin
Brown No Pattern 1/4 Type
I have always wanted to learn to play the violin, so I finally decided to get this one based on research "best violin for beginners" and plan to teach myself. All the searches I came across said this was the top violin for beginners. For the price, the quality is great, you get presumably everything you need for full basic setup and it comes strung already. Bow is not resined, so if you have never played, let alone seen, a violin before, then you can watch some YouTube videos on how to properly resin the bow, like I did (you won't be able to get sound without doing that, which I never knew before!) Be careful of strings, they will break easily, especially the E string. I was attempting to tune it for the first time and I barely moved the peg, and mine snapped, so it was fantastic that they had an extra string included! I decided to take up my Pastor's offer to tune it for me so I knew it would be in the best hands possible and I could practice tuning at a later time (I had watched YouTube videos that taught how to tune, but I was having difficulty getting it just right when it snapped). Also, as I was attempting to tune, the other strings were a little easier to tune, but the pegs kept slipping, so every time I would get the strings tuned, they seemed to slip and loosen and I'd lose the correct sound. Loved that it came with a tuner, and that the tuner came with a battery! The sound quality is really good for a cheapy beginner violin once it is tuned. The accessories that cone with the violin help to get you up and going right out of the package. The only accessory that is not included that is suggested for learning to play, is the fingerboard cheat that shows you where all the notes are. I am ordering one to better help me learn finger placement for correct notes since I am teaching myself. Case is not HARD, but definitely not soft, and is sturdy. Again, seems like a great little violin for someone starting out, and has pretty much all the necessary accessories for

This violin is perfectly fine for beginners looking for a starter.
Brown No Pattern 1/4 Type
I played violin through 2 years of middle school and all four years of highschool. I stopped for many years and found this violin as one to pick things back up with. I came to write this review because I wanted to express this violin is perfectly fine for parents looking to get their kids into a string instrument. Its perfectly fine for someone who is coming back but doesn't want to break the bank. Some parents in the reviews have been given a hard time by their kid's instructors because of the make. I say in all seriousness, many violin instructors are snobby, it just comes with the territory. If you are looking for quality violin to start that's for a good price, look no further. I would say as you progress, if you would like better quality strings and bow, go for it, but that is not to say that this make is terribly quality; it's alright. I also read in the reviews that it feels cheap, but I disagree. Violins are light weighted instruments. If you're looking for "$1k carved from Yggdrasil and a bow made from the hair of Galadriel" quality this isnt for you. Happy Playing!

Great Beginner Violin

This is a review for Mendini By Cecilio Violin For Kids & Adults - 4/4 MV300 Satin Antique, Student or Beginners Kit. I had an incomplete shipping address and the violin was sent back to the seller. KK Music immediately sent me an email and said they wanted to make it right, what could they do?
I sent the correct address and it was quickly sent. I am impressed with the care of the case: velcro strip holding the finger board stable, two bridges (one was installed upright), strings were installed, shoulder rest, extra set of strings, and rosin.
It came with a music book by Craig Duncan who has a huge reputation in violin/fiddle. 28 lessons with lesson 1 showing how to hold the violin and bow. It shows the D, G, C, and A key signature and diagrams. Very well done! This is a company that cares about the customer.
This violin was reviewed by Alison Sparrow a professional violinist. I would easily order from this company anythime!

so it has been a year with this violin.
overall: Still Cheap violin. so you can be _GUILT FREE_ about sticking fingering sticker on the finger board., marking it with white paint, etc major PLUS for beginner.
The instrument stayed in tune the entire year, needing only minor adjustment from day to day. Probably because it's covered in paint, it was actually very stable against change in climate conditions through out the year, from dry cold winter to wet spring to humid hot summer to dry hot fall.
