Works exactly like it's supposed to Plug and Play really easy to assemble and get running

Was a perfect replacement way cheaper than anything else I was Finding.

Worked perfectly to replace an older converter in my travel trailer and adapt to charging a LiFePO4 battery.

I gave it a five but I think a 4.5 would be more appropriate. The good. Good quality wires for hooking up. Neat, compact and it's been working for the last hour since I put it in :). The bad. The picture of the converter in my manual does not match the one they sent me. The mode switch in mine is flat and I used a pin to switch modes. They tell you the lipo4 and lead acid switch position in the manual but it should be on the board and easy to see. Who knows, the manual may not be around when the next guy goes to switch it. In the attached picture I circled the mode switch. In the picture it sticks out. Mine is flush. The English in the manual is terrible. Like we used to see in the 80s. Contact me and I'll proof read them for you.

Installed this unit yesterday in a friend's camper... works well on day one, bought the 3 year warranty, will report back if it fails too soon. Old one was took out by power surges, no fault of its own but such is life. I liked the selectable or variable output voltage for lithium or lead acid battery charging. AC ground wire is blue instead of green, DC ground wire is black instead of white. With basic electrical knowledge neither of those things should slow you down. Unit came with nicely terminated ends on the wiring, and even the little jumper and a wire nut to share the converter with the general purpose circuit like most any camper has.

I bought this new converter to upgrade the OEM one in my camping trailer to support my new lithium iron batteries. This unit was easy to install and other than a few challenges with the installation manual, it installed easily. I noticed my batteries charging appropriately right away after installation.

The converter in our 2018 Rpod recently went bad, and it was already replaced about 2 years earlier, so I thought I would give this a try this time. This is supposed to be a simple swap replacement for the existing WF-8955 and it was for the most part. The wires were a little short to follow the path of the old wires, so I did need to drill a new hole through the plastic in the middle of the existing power panel to make the run shorter to the terminals. And on the old unit there was a small 4-wire harness that has no place to go now. I assume it was probably for the camper power display or something. Hooked it up without that, and everything seems to be working as expected. It's only been about a month but so far so good! I have a big lithium battery now, so I am wondering if the big charging load was causing more heat and that shortened the life of the old converter. The old one had two fans, but it was just circulating the small amount of air available under the dinette seat in a closed area. So I am also adding a 4" louvered vent right next to the converter under the dinette to give it more fresh air. Let's see how long this one lasts.

Excellent replacement for the factory installed unit.

The shipping was a couple days late but it was fairly easy to hook up. I'm a woman and I've never messed with electrical stuff and I did it my self. The only thing is I had to look up where the green wire went. But it worked perfectly as soon as I turned it on.
