Surprisingly versatile
For a compromise purchase, this turned out well. These are the “tinker toys” if garden cages. Used for determinate tomatoes, eggplant, tall pepper plants. Had terrible time finding cages/ supports in stock and 2 other companies failed to ship. 3 of my larger plants collapsed the day I received my 3 systems—so was relieved to finally get these. 3 kits are to make 9 cages with 3 sides. Arms are 1” narrower than Ultomato system so I needed 4 sided cages. Made 5 cages for determinate tomatoes and used additional parts to lengthen 2,Ultomato cages I already had and made 3,sided eggplant and pepoer supports. No cages —except for very pricey extra sturdy steel mesh— can handle huge 6-7 ft heirloom tomato plants loaded with fruit. Cages must be anchored with earth staples. Ultomatoes and this crate type I cable tie to my fence or deck railing to keep them upright. To make this system stronger I pushed the 4 posts into the ground, then made a square attaching 4 arms right at ground level to make it sturdier. Mr Stripey And other Heirloom tomatoes get super tall and was happy to be able to lengthen these supports. I like the versatility to create any length and usr indoors or out. Best feature? Comes apart in easily stored lengths.

Can configure in multiple ways for flexibility
Stakes come in 16.5" lengths that can be added together using the tube connectors. They snap together solidly and don't slip apart. I'm using a patio planter for tomato, pepper and squash plants. Using 4 stakes for the 2 tomato plants and reinforced with the crossbars. I wanted more support for the stakes because the stakes are limited to the depth of the planter and I was concerned that it wouldn't be enough to adequately anchor the cage. I tied the plants to the stakes and everything is holding nicely. Lengths of stake could be added later if the plants become taller than expected.

Our heirloom tomatoes love K Brand cages
We grow heirloom indeterminate tomatoes, some of which grow to over 7 feet tall. Finding cages that can accommodate this size plant is a challenge. K Brand cages solved this problem for us with their cages that are designed to be expandable up to whatever height you might need. This is an American built product manufactured by a family business, so you know your tomatoes will taste better using these cages. (Maybe not but it wouldn't hurt to think they would.) Rustproof and easy to store at the end of the season. Shop K Brand products and keep Americans working!

Adjustable at every stage of growth
I used this in addition to a tomato cage after the plant had outgrown the cage. I have one container plant with cherry tomatoes and another with large heavy tomatoes. The design enabled me to build the cage around the plants and successfully expose the tomatoes to more light--although now the resident chipmunk is having a field day. I made the cherry tomato cage taller than recommended but it's holding up well. The design will also allow for easier storage, overall a must have for container tomato plants :)

Good Quality
I bought this for a growing rose bush that needed to straighten. It was very easy to put together, and pretty much stress free if you are patient and have a free 30-45 mins (this included taking out of packaging and reviewing all pieces). Considering this is for tomatoes, it holds up really well, especially considering my rose is taller than me with heavy-ish branches. I recommend that if you are using this for 1 heavier plant, and not necessarily a tomato plant, to use ALL parts included to make one giant cage. It will be sturdier this way! We have also had two big storms since putting it up. Seems very weather resistant and the rain hasn't budged it.

Works with raspberry plants as well as tomato plants
I am new at gardening and so I was not really prepared for the rapid growth my plants have succeeded in doing while I was still reading the how to books. So, everything is now propped up with these cages and they work extremely well even with some strong winds. I do admit that I did four poster instead of 3 poster configuration, but that is because I didn't read the directions until the end when I found them when breaking down the shipping box :-)

Offers great versatility on size
These tomato cages are great. I like that they come as multiple poles, with connectors, so that they can be made as tall as needed. The pieces that go around the poles clip into place very easily, and come with 3 different width options per end, so these cages can essentially be as tall/wide as you want them to be. They also clip into place wherever you need them to be on the poles, to offer the best support to the plant. It's all very sturdy and supportive for my tomato plants.

Easy to setup in a variety of ways
We're using these for beans, cucumbers, and small melon plants. The trellises were super easy to setup. It's nice that they are so configurable. In the winter, the trellises will be moved to the greenhouse for use in the raised beds.

Withstood some heavy storms
The cages were very easy to install, strong wire that withstood the pressure applied to get them deep into the ground. We have experienced some heavy rainstorms here in Minnesota this year. The cages have stood strong through all of them. Because of the shape it has been fairly easy keeping the tomato plants inside the cages. So far they have met my expectations.

Good and sturdy
It is good. It could made to 12" or larger, but 11" is still ok.
