Great Price
This pump is priced right and is working great. At this price point you cannot go wrong, I figure I could replace it every couple years if need be and still be way ahead of the game. Pump is powerful and surprisingly quiet. I would buy again. 5 STARS

One thing missing
Pleased with product, but a tad disappointed there is no on/off switch. Simple fix though. Plugged in ground fault.

FedEx Shipping
The pump works fine or should I say the last time I ordered one. This shipment has not arrived yet and I am very disappointed in FedEx, I really needed this pump to get here on time.I will not order anything else that is shipped by this carrier and Amazon should evaluate their service very closely.Pump is fine shipping is 1 star

Junk
These pumps are junk. I ordered the first one in summer of 2020. Ran for 3 months in a typical midwest summer pool season. Fired it up pool season of 2021 and the motor quit working after a month. They replaced it under warranty. Ran it summer of 2021 on an 8 hour timer everyday until pool season was closed for the year. Turned it on this season (2022) and the switch inside the motor where the wiring connections are burned up and the pump wouldn't work. Now the company won't replace another junk pump because they said I'm out of warranty because the warranty only covers the pump from original purchase date and because it was the warrantied pump that quit working they won't replace it. I've never heard of this with any other company. If your product is replaced under warranty the manufacturer warranty always starts over on the new product. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR CHEAP PUMPS. IF YOU WANNA REPLACE YOUR POOL PUMP EVERY SEASON THEN BUY THIS PUMP. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND FRUSTRATION AND SPEND THE MONEY ON A HIGHER QUALITY COMPANY POOL PUMP.

Rotating exit port
The instructions state that rotating the exit port is done by removing the input strainer, then remove 8 "bolts" and turn the port. Ya, no, the 'bolts' are actually screws and have nothing whatsoever to do with turning the port. Remove the strainer as it says, then remove the end cap on the other side. unfasten the 4 bolts there ( do not pull them out ) turn the exit port and re-tighten the 4 bolts, replace the cap and strainer.Other than spending 30 minutes fussin with the exit port this is a good pump, I bought 2.

Works Great
Easy to set up and get going. Moves a LOT of water through it in a short amount of time. It's a good quality pump that we are please with.

Great price - solid power - poor wiring
This 2.0hp dual speed pump is by far the most affordable dual speed Inground pump you can find. After spending many times more to only get a few years use out of them i went cheap with this one and so far it’s worked great. The pump body is well made - basket and impeller construction better than my previous doheneys model. It runs much quieter than my previous 1.5hp pumps and uses less amps as well on both speeds for a higher flow rate. The water connection threading seemed slightly larger than standard so be prepared to tape and seal to get around leaks. The wiring on this pump is a downside - it is non standard and not marked correctly on the unit. It is easy to do if you read the instructions and look at the (very small) wiring diagram, just not what it should be for a 240v device in the US. You will need to crimp on some yellow 10-12ga quick connects - it does not have compression screw posts. The only other issue I have is the pump runs pretty warm on high. Once I am able to run it more often in low I expect it will be much cooler for the rest of the season.I am not sure how long it will last - but at this price it is on par with my previous models if it lasts a season.

Hard to hook up cause of the fittings
I use this for my pool but due to the weird fittings I haven’t yet hooked up. Still trying to find fittings that will work
