Well, a couple of things to consider when you buy this. Firstly, no cord was included with the item, i had to use the old cord from my old pump, 2ndly, this comes with 2" pvc fittings to attach to your hoses - all mine were 1 1/2" , and since no adaptors came with it i had to buy 2 galvanized threaded pipe adaptors to make it work with my old hayward hose fittings, so far no leaks, just make sure to use nylon tape on the threads. even with the no cord and no adaptors, still seemed like a good alternative to the $700 hawyard replacement. it seems to have just as much power if not more than the 1hp hayward pump i had, although i havent tried to vacuum with it yet, i dont anticipate any trouble - i hope. and oh yes there is no power switch which makes it a little inconvenient when trying to backwash, vacuum to waste, or any other reasonable need to switch off the pump to make things easier. i just used a power strip with a switch in line with my timer to make up for this, you will need one rated at least 15A if you do this

We purchased this pump to replace a very tall cartridge system. We have loved it. It’s very easy to operate and less work for my husband.

Last pump we had to get was in 2019. Cost us over 700 dollars. It barely lasted 3 years. This is affordable works better and quieter. No longer will buy the OTHER brand.

An excellent product. There are just a couple of things I would change in the advertising. 1: The pump comes set to 110v and has a short standard US household cable and plug. To install the pump I had to first remove this cable and connect the push on connectors from the original 220v line (after first adjusting the 115/230 switch position on the cover face to 230. This involves removing the end cover. 2: The pump doesn't come with proper unions. These have to be purchased separately. I have purchased two of these pumps. One property had 1.5 inch PVC piping and the pump just dropped in perfectly using the old unions. The second pump was fitted to 2 inch PVC piping and required two new unions. If you are a professional or handy, none of these things are an issue, but if you are not, just be aware of the above notes. Would I by them again ? Absolutely. Great value for money

Works fine , I should of bought maybe a higher horsepower pump for the size of our pool, but that’s my fault .

Used it to replace the pump for inground pool. Wiring took about a minute. I knew nothing about wiring, but a quick Internet search and it was done. Super quiet and great suction.

The pump was pretty easy to install. The inlet and outlet had a different thread than the previous pump, but a little plumbing fixed that. The pump is super quiet, and so far has been an quick and easy fix for what I was quoted over $2K for a replacement of my former pump.
