I used it to remove the rear coils from a 2009 Mazda 5. Before I used it I lubes the threads with heavy grease from my grease gun and everything else with 30 weight oil. I used a Milwaukee impact and also a wrench at times. This did the job well, and seems like it will last a while with care.

A bit clumsy to change the different parts, but the function is perfekt. Seems stabile and strong 👍

I used this compressor yesterday removing and reinstalling the main springs in my Landcruiser. It worked really well and I felt safe when using it with very high compression.

I used it for some 01 tacoma coils, they were rated for a 3 inch lift and a bumper and winch and this thing had no problem handling it. Wasn't concerned about it letting go or anything.

Bought this to install 6100s on my Bronco. Worked perfectly and any fear quickly subsided. - Lube the threaded rod and cycle before use. I used Lucas Oil X-TRA heavy duty grease. No binding. - The middle shoe size fit perfectly on my Bronco springs and fit around the 2.5" 6100 shock body. - Highly recommend a long wratcheting wrench (or 250ft-lb torque wrench) for tightening. I started with a small 8" long ratchet and was terrified by the amount of force that was needed to compress. The tool wasn't binding. I just needed a longer wrench.

This tool makes replacing struts a breeze! I should have bought it earlier. It fits most vehicles and makes changing struts a much safer job. The hard case makes it easy to store and keep your work area clear.
