Read all the reviews of this unit and others. After careful consideration I bought this one. So far I'm glad I did, it's much quieter than my old pump. It circulates as good if not better than the old unit also.
So far so good! Bought this in May to replace a doughboy pump that just quit working. Wish it had an on/off switch on the pump but manually unplugging it is no big deal. So much quieter than our previous pump.
A great replacement of the filter this above ground pool came with. We had to create a way to connect to the pool and bought some separate parts at our local hardware store, but it's so worth it!
I upgraded from a smaller intex pump that came with the pool. Swapped it out with this one and it was like night and day. So strong at moving water I had to replace my hoses caused they busted because the pump is so good. Very happy with this product
Pump arrived a day earlier than expected, was easy to install (exact same plumbing setup as the previous, different brand pump), and is drawing the water in perfectly.
This pump is so quiet and the suction is really good especially considering that this pump was not expensive. The only downside is that the installation directions are not very easy to understand. Step by step directions with pictures would have been helpful.
