The product needed to be assembled with several smaller parts. All small parts were in plastic bags, however there were 2 small critical parts missing to hold other parts in place. Need contact info of the seller to obtain these parts or other options. Also contacted the manufacturer and awaiting reply.

Originally came with a poorly welded piece, contacted them and they replaced it free of charge. Very happy with their customer service. The mill works great now, it's a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.

If you plan on cutting the same day this arrives, you better open it immediately to figure out how to put it together. Next, research how to use it and lastly ensure your saw is long enough to cut the log you want to slice. This works well if you do all three of those things first.

Tinkering works great

The rails I recieved were labeled "Vevor" rather than Vbenlem. Other than that they were easy to assemble and intuitive for me to use.To make an Alaskan mill successful, and to make nice lumber, it crucial to make that first cut as perfect as possible. These rails allow one to really make a beautiful first cut. In my particular case, making the rails level lenghtwise was less important than leveling them crosswise and centered on the log. This was accomished with quick and dirty axe cleanup where the securing flanges met the log, and using wood wedges where needed to keep the rails straight and leveled side to side. The first cut was beautiful, and subsequent planks have come out flat, straight, and smooth.
