Customer Reviews for VEVOR Propane Forge Portable, Triple Burner Tool and Knife Making, Large Capacity Blacksmith Farrier Forges, Mini Furnace Blacksmithing, Stainless Steel Gas Forging Tools and Equipment, Oval

I got this forge for my shop to use in the manufacturing of Dock Spring cable dampeners for boat docks. I had been using an acetylene torch in a process that took about 20 minutes each and ate about $4 in gas. The forge heats 3/4" bar to forging temp in just a few minutes and I can heat 8 pieces at a time. I can now make what used to take all day in about an hour. I did treat the kaowool with rigidizer and sealed it with satanite before using it. I added two doors made from plate with windows for positioning steel in the heat zone. Overall, I am very happy with this forge and it should serve me for many years.

I had been eyeing forges on Amazon for a while but just didn't see anything I wanted, then trolling on Vevor I noticed that they carried forges and after reading the reviews from others and watching some YouTube videos about this particular forge I pulled the trigger and purchased it. The forge came extremely well packaged, the overall construction of it is exceptional given the low price. There's not a lot of features you can expect since it's basically just 3 propane flame throwers and a metal tube. This forge is perfect for someone wanting to get started in blacksmithing or knifemaking, bit small for doing any farrier work but perfect for most anything else. Downside to this design is that both ends are open, a door or doors for each end would be good but using the included fire bricks it's possible to seal the openings up for the most part. Very pleased and definitely getting a lot of use from this. As far as being easy to use, once you have it all setup it's great, but the problem I had initially was spreading the refractory cement over the wool on the inside... but I accomplished it by mixing it a little bit thinner and starting from the middle working out to each end, 12 hours later I was forging a couple of coat hooks.

Good for the price

I have only used this forge a couple times but it has performed perfectly. It is very well built but could have a longer hose.

Does everything it needs to. Gets the metal extremely hot ready for working. Made of thick stainless steel. Excellent value for money

It works great. Comes with everything you need to put together. Easy to use. It was worth the price.

Well made. happy with it.

Vielen Dank Kurt

works as expected.

I like this forge but vevor sent me a forge with a burner leaking gas so I had to seal it up and I cannot use the 3rd burner. if you cover it with fire bricks an use 2 burners you can get to forge welding heat after 5mins or so and I have used it to make damascus steel and forge small hammers and tools with success . Worked pretty good for me.
