My oase classic stop working after a 1yr. I decided to give this one a try, it works great same suction as the oase but less then half the price I would buy it again.

Before purchasing this pond vacuum cleaner, I requested an estimate from a local pond service company to clean my pond and they quoted me $3,000.00 for one time cleaning. Fortunately, they kept missing the appointment so I decided to buy this vacuum. After one use, I can honestly say it is worth the money and saved me a lot of money. The suction is very strong and sucked up the thick algae growing on the flagstones. The inlet or suction hose is long enough to reach the bottom and all around the entire pond. The discharge hose is also long enough and able to reach a nearby garden, so it watered my plant. I like the fact that it pauses for a few seconds which is enough time to reposition the hose. I highly recommend it.

The vacuum works well for cleaning the debris in our turtle pool. Easy to use and efficient. It has its quirks, but it is easy to work with them and it does not affect the job the vacuum can do.

Note that it is normal for it to shut off every few minutes to empty water out. Keep the hose in the water and it will come back on.

The lack of instruction made the initial use not go well. This does not provide any filtering at all for the intake water. It’s basically sludge in- sludge out. You need to make sure that the drain hose is releasing the dirty water outside of your pond. Depending on how long it takes to clean, you will need to replace the dirty water with clean water afterwards. Once I figured that out, it went fine.

i have a 600 gallon pond 8 ft x 6 feet, irregular shape. I have an aquascape pump and skimer which is amazing. However, i live in Central Florida and a beautiful 50 year old oak tree shades the pond. Dont like nets so...needed a vacumn. This vevor is perfect. Initially, the stop,/start was crazy but i got into a used to it and acted accoringly. I would suggest you run a hise at the same time to add water. I treated after i completed my cleaning. Worked great. VERY pleased with it!

I bought this item to vacuum the bottom of a dirty pool and it worked perfectly. Uncertain reason for poor reviews about the unit powering off 30 seconds? It does this to clear the water from unit thru a outtake house then restarts automatically. Worked perfectly 3 weeks in a row. Recommended.

I love this wet/vac I am using it to get algae sand out of the bottom of pool. It does an awesome job.

The one feature that I really liked is the "blowhole" at the top. When the suction tube gets blocked, just place the tube in the "blow hole" and it will blow all clogging material out! Cool idea.
