I used this fabric to wrap a French drain behind a retaining wall. It was easy to work with and the best price I could find for fabric of this style. I tested it with a hose, and it drains extremely well despite being quite durable, which is what you want for this style of drain. The raised patio and retaining wall have been holding up well for close to a year now. Immediately after construction, we had months of pouring rain. It was never enough to see water flowing out of the drainpipe, probably because the drain was overbuilt and the water was just absorbing into the soil below, but that just goes to show that this fabric is doing its work, letting the water filter down through it.

This weed barrier is no joke! I’ve never had a barrier keep everything from poking through until I got this stuff. Awesome!

I have boyght many different kinds of weed barriers but this one is the best. Very thick fabric and the weeds do not cine through at all. The price was great too

If you're doing french drains this non-woven fabric is a must have item. Water penetrates faster through this fabric compared to woven landscape fabric sold in most home improvement stores.

Which is kind of what I expected based on other reviews and the fact that it cost 1/2 what other brands of 8oz fabric cost. So I'm okay with the weight, it's really about what I wanted for underlaying river rock anyhow. It did tear a bit easier than I expected when I accidently ran into it with a shovel, but again, it's good enough. And in case it's not otherwise clear, the fabric comes folded lengthwise on the roll (the roll is 2' but the fabric unfolds to 4' wide)

Perfect weed barrier, used for under our play ground, has keep all grass and weeds out. Also work just laying on the grass with nothing on top. This is perfect for weed protection!

I think this will work better than others I have used. Very strong stuff.

This stuff is tough. I used it for my French drain. While I had 4-5" riprap on it I was able to pull the side up without any rips. Great price and delivered without leaving the house.

Was looking to redue my garden area because the weeds had taken over. Found this just in time and at a great price.

I placed this under gravel and made a parking place still holding up a year later very good quality. Will buy again if I need it.
