Very well built, especially for the price. To those commenting that the tool rest interferes with the tightening bolt and they can't get it tight, the plastic arm is spring loaded. Pull it out/away from the rest and you can finish tightening it very easily. My only complaint is the tool rest itself is a bit too big for a few of my chisels. I may cut about 1/2" off to make it work for those, but the rest work great. Very happy with my purchase.

Great buy for the money. Yes there are more expensive options. That are heavier duty. I purchased this one as a specialty tool backup so I would not have to change settings on my primary sharpening system. Works great.

Well made product. I was sharpening by bowl gouges within a few minutes. Fortunately my bench grinder was at the perfect height that i didn't need a plate to raise it off the work bench. Just align and screw down the bars, mount and adjust the gouge in the tool holder and go! Sharpening is so consistant and fast now. sharp tools make the hobby so much better

It definitely does the trick, a very close copy of the name brand competitors. But the instruction manual is rudimentary and you will learn more about the installation process and proper alignment from good online videos. No obvious manufacturing defects or issue so far. I put it under a Rikon 80-805 8” low speed grinder with upgraded wheels, Norton 80, CBN 180, for a very easy to use system, once I got the minor issues worked out. I bought the Vevor grinder stand, as well, to mount it all on. The bolts that came with the stand were far too short to reach through the plywood base and riser blocks needed to get the tool system aligned and stable under the wheels. The local True Value did not have any long enough, either. Ended up ordering stainless 80 mm M10 bolts and nuts online to make everything fit right. Now a newbie woodturner is learning how to sharpen! Sharp tools male it easier!
