If you are using higher cost bits a sharpener is well worth the money. Especially when a good one is marked down 30%. The instructions could use a further translation but they serve. Once figured out this sharpener is a great device. Recommended.

I use the snot out of this little thing in my hobby machine shop. It works great, really puts a keen edge on drill bits. Those cheap harbor shipping drill bit sets that come dull but still sort of work get a whole new life after runni g the bits through this drill sharpener

This drill sharpener is a game changer for small shop, DIY, garage enthusiasts. It's rare to find a tool that 'just works' and does a great job. The features and ease of use get 5 stars. My only downsides are obviously the price but I can overlook that when I use it, because again it does a great job without alot of fiddling. The other is quality because very simple things like stickers (that are used for adjusting and set up) are actually moving on the tool, and not solidly fixed or glued down. Overall though still 5 starts.

Best drill sharpener easy ABC to use

I cannot believe how good this machine is. It works so well it’s like magic. My only regret is that I didn’t opt for the larger one. All my friends are envious except that they use it as much as I do.

Works great on sharpening my split point cobalt drills.

After a short learning curve on my part, I am very pleased with this machine. The included instructions are not the best but just add in a little common sense, practice and perhaps the right YouTube video, you'll get great results. The trick is correctly setting the drill/chuck alignment in the left hand port. The first few time you do this, it is easy to misalign the drill while tightening the chuck. Always confirm visually that the flutes of your drill are parallel with the flats on the chuck. The little machine is heavy and well built. It uses ER-32 style collets. Typically you find these on precision machine tools, CNC machines and higher end wood routers. That is a good sign of quality. They work very well but require that you understand how to use them. They "snap" in to the chuck cap and are held firmly. To remove from the cap, you tilt the collet to the side and it pops out. Both of these actions require that the collet be empty. At least two YouTube reviewers that I watched did not use the collets properly. Several Reddit posts thought the ER cap was machined incorrectly. It wasn't. Choose wisely. The drill size limitation 2mm (~5/64") to 13mm (~33/64") is not a big deal. Drills less than 5/64" are usually never sharpened, just replaced anyway. Larger would be nice, but it's not too hard to manually sharpen drills over 1/2" diameter. Admittedly all my twist drills are ground at the same 118 degrees and I only bother to split the points of drills 3/16" and larger. I have not tried other settings. This machine works very well for me and is miles ahead of my previous "well known" drill sharpener.

Great product, works perfectly. Have recommended it to my friends. It's easy to set up and use. I have used on my own drills and sharpened many for my friends also. The setting label's could be made out more durable material. Over all very good product.

Doing steel frames for decking, we go through A LOT of drill bits. Tried several other brands and this one is by far the best ever. Takes a little practice (I'd suggest some YouTube videos). But once you get the hang of it, literally less than 30 seconds to sharpen a bit better than new. Great buy.
