Though I said too many bad words during the install, I'm ultimately glad I stuck with it (the only reason I did was because I drilled a hole in my door). The installation process is a bit challenging (I'm generally pretty handy), mostly because the instructions are poor. Honestly, I still don't quite know what I was doing wrong then eventually did right. But once all was said and done, the handle feels durable and high-quality, and is a great alternative to a \"smart\" lock at a much cheaper price point. Just be sure that you're okay with ALWAYS having to manually unlock your door before you decide to purchase.

No batteries. No key. Always works. Super robust and sturdy. I installed this at a remote beach house where if you lose the key or lock yourself out, you hope you have your car keys and head home. This ends that fear. It is an incredible piece of mechanics! Installation is a breeze with various hardware to fit differing door thicknesses. Clean design that covers BOTH the door knob and deadbolt holes too! Love this! Highly highly recommended.
