Got this to sharpen my lawnmower blades, and balance them. Works great, and am very happy with it.

Bought this awhile ago but just now using this as the grass growing season is in full swing. Makes nice even angles. Learned to lift on back of grinder to transition from straight part of blades to the curved part. The apparatus that holds the blades open wide enough to fit my 3 inch wide blades on my Kubota. Previously tried this on a Vevor apparatus that my brother bought and it could not accomodate them.

Fantastic system of you already have an angle grinder. My mower blades were seriously beat up and out of balance. I had to remove a large amount of material but the jig held the angle and made it easy. The balancer had the blades running smooth.

Overall not bad for the price.The arms on the grinder guide were very stiff.

The price for this jig was much more reasonable than a few others that I have seen. As a result, I was not sure what to expect, but I just used it this morning to sharpen the blade on my Toro 21 inch mower. It is very easy to set up and use. I found the correct pin to install on my grinder, there were 4 pins in total and one fit perfectly. I am also impressed that it came with mounting screws. Most say they do not come with the mounting screws. I ended up purchasing some 3/8 inch bolts with washers and wing nuts as I mounted it on a portable stand. It is very easy to set up and use. It did not take long to get the correct angle, then I proceed to sharpen my blade. There are a lot of adjustments on the jig. My Toro blade has a significant cupping shape in the middle of the blade, but the screws that hold the blade in place were easy to adjust with an Allen key. I also have a riding mower, they are a much flatter blade so I will have to adjust the height of the screws that hold the blade in place, but I know that I can sharpen a variety of blades with this jig. I would recommend this sharpening jig to anyone looking for something that makes sharpening your mower blades easier.
