Works well, and heats the room as a bonus
In the cold winter this year, nice to have this unit that not only distills water for the humidifier, but as a bonus heats up the room at the same time. Saves on heating bills. Certainly makes it easier than trying to find distilled water, which is becoming harder every day.

A cost effective purchase !
It's a little condenser system that generates distilled water very efficiently ... a little bit noisy but robust and has a good automatic shut off system which is great !

Good value for the dollar
I bought the VEVOR machine because I wasn't going to pay $5+ for a gallon of distilled water on the rare occasion I can find it, nor am I willing to replace my Keurig coffee machine annually. Our rural well water is very hard. We have an industrial grade water softener but it doesn't eliminate enough minerals to keep from destroying a coffee machine in less than a year or so. I also use a CPAP so I need distilled water for that. The pandemic has caused distilled water has become nearly impossible to find, even now during spring of 2023. On the rare occasion I can find distilled water in the store, it is horrendously over-priced.I've been using the VEVOR for about a month now. It works as advertised. Seems solidly built tho it is somewhat clunky to use. It takes up a lot of counter space while in use, so be aware of that. Unless you have a lot of counter space, this thing will probably not live on your kitchen counter. You'll have to figure out a place to stow it. That place needs to be near a sink for ease of filling with water and cleaning. You need to rinse out the mineral residue after every use. That's where the clunky part comes in. There are two AC cords. One cord connects the condenser (top unit) to the base (boiler unit), the other connects the base to your wall outlet. Both MUST be disconnected for cleaning or you could suddenly meet your maker. The base unit (boiler) is too tall to fit under most kitchen faucets. It is not submersible! You'll need a hand-held sink sprayer to rinse it out.It comes with a small amount citric acid, enough for 4 or so cleanings. You use that to dissolve and clean out the inevitable mineral build ups. Citric acid is cheap. Eventually you'll need to buy some once the limited supply they give you runs out.The instruction manual is some weirdly worded translation from Chinese into something that resembles English. But the operation is pretty obvious so you should be able to figure it out just from looking at the machine. It just boi

Great water
I use it for our counter ice maker, and since there’s a shortage of distilled water, it works great

Works good
This machine works pretty good. I've been using it for a few months. There was a shortage of distilled water in my area for a while so I bought this machine. I use distilled water for my CPAP machine and our steam mop and iron. We don't drink it. I fill it with the hot water from my tap, that speeds up the distilling process. I just start it up and forget about it, it shuts off when it's done. It does have a cooling fan on it so it does make some noise, but we just put it on the counter in the kitchen and ignore it, it's not that loud. It comes with some cleaning crystals, but I just use a little bit of white vinegar and hot water and it cleans up just fine. If you don't want to run out of distilled water it's a good machine for you.

Easy to use
Due to the shortage of distilled water in stores, I purchased this to make distilled water for my work. This works very well and it's very easy to set up. Make sure to have some citric acid on hand so you can clean the boiler every so often. Because you may have hard water buildup. I used a TDS meter to test the distilled water and was getting about 5 to 10 PPM so definitely works. And for reference, the regular tapwater where I live is about 300 PPM.
