Bought for neighborhood use via golf cart. Based on reviews here (thanks), modified. Bought 2" to 1 1/4" hitch adapter and hitch coupler with 2" channel (required drilling two holes in adapter and one in tongue for bolt through--titanium bit). Cut first handle weld (muffler cutter) and capped, allowing adapter to slide onto tongue. Replaced clevis with eyebolt to attach front strap. Added clamp-on bow roller. Took a little tweaking to fit our boat's shape.

Makes moving trailers so much easier. Takes some of the pressure off of your back. I have only used mine on paved surfaces so far but the large diameter wheels look like that would work on dirt and firm grass. Made of quality materials. Sturdy.

Heavier duty than I expected. All ahead stop as I tried to assemble. Dear manufacturer: please provide needed fasteners. I guess you are trying to help with assembly, as you barely thread the nuts and bolts so they are in place. But when I opened the box, a few nuts were swimming around the bottom, and now I’ve determined one missing three needed nuts and bolts. Please just give a secure bag of the needed number of fasteners. I’d rather spend the extra 5 minutes threading then into place than a run to the hardware store!

Been using this for 3 months for my light weight 12 ft jon Boat. Hauling it about 200 yards to the lake. Really liked it and then yesterday it broke at the T. I looked at it and it was not welded . see photoContacting the vendor because of this and hopefully they will help . Will let you know what happens.Vendor is sending a new one to replace the broken one. Great customer service. Will check the weld on the new received. Hopefully the new one will hold up. will let you know.

Dolly is well built and useful. I chose this one because of the larger tires and its load capacity.Why I said "almost" in the headline is that the dolly doesn't work so well on gravel. It's likely that ALL dollies of this type are like that; but this one has a smaller tire on the front unlike some of the others. When pulling my utility trailer on soft gravel, this front tire would dig in and make it harder to move the trailer. So I removed the front tire and now it pulls easier. Still takes much more effort than if the dolly and trailer were on concrete or asphalt, but it is now doable.Something else I do is to leave the trailer jack down and use the dolly to raise up the trailer hitch. That way if I get tired of pulling or the trailer starts to get away from me, I can raise up the handle on the dolly and let the trailer back down on the jack.

It took two of us to move our trailer and now I can do it by myself with much less effort. The tires are pleny big enough for my loads.

We bought this for the 2023 Grand Rapids Boat Show in MI, for our display of classic boats. These ranged from low (7,000 lbs), but that's just physics. It did require someone be "on the dolly" for the heavy lifts, as it can drop on its own, so keep the tongue wheel down and in place when using. Very solid build quality. We keep it indoors (garage) when not in use to keep it in good working order. Can remove the ball piece and adjust it easily. With it removed, it can be easily put into a Suburban, Tahoe, Pickup, or similar vehicle.

Puts my inflatable boat in a position just high enough to put the motor on (15hp motor with a short shaft). Makes it very easy to maneuver my boat with the motor attached (combined weight of boat + motor is approx 200 lbs). Great product!
