This 45" OD firepit ring is the perfect complement for my firepit. It is a very well made heavy duty 3 mm thick ring. The ring arrived undamaged and was very easy to assemble according to the enclosed instruction sheet. All 4 pieces aligned perfectly without any difficulty. I was looking to construct a smokeless design for my round 42" ID firepit so I drilled .5" holes around the top of the ring and 8 holes around the bottom for air circulation. I then painted the ring with high temp flat black paint. I also removed 2 blocks on the second layer and spaced the rest so I had 4 vent holes to allow air in behind the 10" deep ring. Filled the bottom of the pit with red lava rocks and added a nice 36" heavy duty grate from Titan. Firepit looks great with this ring and will probably last a long time. So happy this project worked so well. Highly recommend this firepit ring.

After searching the internet for the exact insert I needed, I went with this one. I knew it wasn't going to work right out of the box but hoped I could modify it without any issues. Ever before I opened the box I knew it was heavy duty, the box was much heavier than I anticipated. The steel measures right around .100 of an inch and has plenty of welds between the top flange and outer ring. It only takes 8 nuts and bolts to hold together and they give you 2 extra sets just in case. Good thing, because one of the nuts I got missed the tap process at the factory. I ended up welding 2" more to the bottom of the ring to reach the bottom of my pit and also drilled the holes around the upper ring to make it "smokeless". Nowhere did it burn through welding the ring because like I said the metal is heavy duty. So far after one fire, the paint is holding up but I assume it won't forever. I'd buy this again if needed, great price for a great insert.

I'm super impressed that it actually 3mm thick and it is very sturdy. It assembled easily and was the correct dimensions. Great value. Only misses are some pain on the edges were chipped straights our of the box and some burs on the inner edge. No biggie for me since I drilling holes for a smokeless pit, so I was touching up paint anyways.

The pit was really simple to assemble and looks great except one corner came dented.

This is a heavy weight, nice quality fire pit at a very reasonable price. The fire pit arrived in a box that had ripped open in several places but was undamaged. The item had been packaged with protective styrofoam and It was very heavy so I am mot sure what else could have been done to protect it better especially with how poor shipping services are these days. Our item was missing the screws to assemble it, and I am not sure if they fell out of one of the holes in the box or were not included. However the seller responded to me very quickly and within a fews days I received the screws in the mail. Customer service was fast and friendly. I am satisfied with my purchase and I would buy from this seller again. The fire pit works well, is very sturdy, and looks nice all by itself, but we have plans to add castle blocks around it this spring. Very happy with my purchase!

Great fire ring. Looks great as an addition to my 5 level pavers that I installed. The ring is keeping the pavers looking brand new and it will extend the life of my fire pit. Received a lot of positive comments on the fire pit as the ring makes it look much more professional.
