Works as described.
I taped it to a water hose that’s hooked to the rv. I then put 1” pipe insulation around the hose and chord. Has worked great so far, has gotten to 15 and stayed below freezing for multiple days. Never lost water while others were haven broken pipe issues.

Bought this to keep our water line coming into the house from freezing since it's exposed. Used this and a blanket and tarp and our lines did great thru the cold.

GREAT TO PROTECT OUTDOOR PVC PIPES
Used this to keep outdoor pvc pipe from freezing. I taped it to the pvc pipe and then wrapped it with insulation foam. Worked great in the last freeze.

Excellent automation
I use this in my chicken coop watering pipe. I installed watering nipples on a 2" PVC pipe, ran this heater along the bottom and keeps water flowing perfectly!

Heats My Solar Battery Bank
Love it. I wrapped it all around my expensive lithium battery bank attached to solar panels in back yard. Packed the battery box with insulation and my lithium batteries are surviving winter just fine.

So far so good.
Got it all hooked up waiting for it to get cold enough to see if it works like we want it to. We live in an area where there are open fields all around us with no wind coverage. Hoping we won't end up with frozen pips again this year
