Where I'm at we don't get a lot of freezing pipes, so when it does happen, no one is prepared. That was until now, the last time we got a big deep freeze, everyone was in trouble after, due to the all the burst pipes. We were lucky and only one of ours froze, and we were able to thaw it out slowly. So, now we know which pipes are vulnerable we can take precautions.This pipe heating cable looks to be good quality & the price is great; it's got a nice weight/heft to it & the length will work perfectly in our bathroom, I recommend.

I ordered this pipe heating cable from Vevor to protect my sprinkler system in the winter. Most of the pipes for the system are far enough underground that I don't need to worry about them freezing in the winter, but the main pipes that connect the sprinkler system to my water supply (Where the shutoff valves are) are above the ground next to my house. So those exposed pipes need to be protected. In the past I have just wrapped them with a blanket and hoped for the best. But with this heating cable I can be sure they won't freeze. After I attach it to the pipes and plug it in, the thermostat will turn the heating unit on when the temperature drops below 43 degrees F and turn it back off when the temperature is above 55 degrees F. This is a great product with a variety of uses, and you can buy it in lengths from 3 feet to 30 feet.

This is super easy to install and operate. Used on a small farm.

Very impressed. Much cheaper than a heated hose. We wrapped it around the water line supplying us since we are spending the winter in it. There have been many nights the temps have been well below freezing and we have never had to deal with not having water due to the hose freezing. It’s well worth it! Highly recommend.
