Exactly what I needed to use with my pump jacks! provided me a good stable platform to work from. I have not test them at there full extension, yet, but it work well when I needed to cantilever 4' out over a roof, when extended 80%. Don't take that as, a recommended way of using! I'm sure the manufacturer would say that it was in "improper" use. I only use it as an indication to say yes it is strong and sturdy, if supported and/or braced well.

My wife's big ass was held up on it just fine. Works for us.

Used it to work on my pool enclosure. Held me no problem. Perfect for what I needed. Was a bit heavy to get up there, but stable.

I'm a big guy and have been on many walk planks. This thing is well built and very stable as I bouhjy the 500 lb rated one. Very nice to be able to stand in the middle of this 15 ft plank and feel safe when you are a ways in the air. Worth every penny and more.

This unit is very solid, but still is pretty light and maneuverable. I wish it was 15 inches wide. A bit to narrow to crawl along (which is what I need it for. Might buy a 2nd and put them in parallel.
