Honestly for the price this thing cant be beat. Yes the software is rather hard to get used to but from what I noticed most any vinyl cutting software has a rather steep learning curve. I wouldn't use this to cut thick paper or cardstock as its not meant for that. The contour cutting feature is really nice to have but make sure you leave enough space from the edge of the paper to the contour lines for the camera to read and also leave a trail extra (like 3 to 4in) for the cutter to grip onto otherwise the sheet will just fall out. I was using this to cut stickers on and I found out it works best with a slight surround on the stickers. If you cut too sharp of corners it may have issues or you may need to slow the cutter down. I have pics of the stickers attached. With the round one I used the attached picture settings (Speed: 240 / Force 300). This was sticker paper with a laminate over the top and i was able to cut down to the backing paper to be able to peel them off.

Never used one before however somewhat computer literate and found it very easy to understand and learn. Included software is great.

Unit arrived with vinyl roll holders damaged, cutting head was stuck up against the inside wall making a ticking sound and not responsive. I called customer service. They gave me a generic Email response with no assistance or help. Good luck if your considering buying this cutter.

I like the plotter because it is precise and accurate when I use it. Although it has a small display and buttons.

Belt for blade was broken upon arrival and customer service would not refund us. So paid all the money and never got a chance to use it. Total waste.

I made my purchase, the machine don't work, it makes a fully noise, I had to send emails back and forth for over a month, customer service is not good it all..... I'm opening my third ticket six weeks later, no one is doing anything, nobody to talk to.... I have made lots of purchases from vevor, but this one is making me realize that I can't continue buying from them if they are going to steal my money....
