Bought for use on copper sheet up to 1mm thick and it cuts it like butter. Nice clean edge. Light to use and handle is good. Could do with a mechanical safety lock to hold the shear down when not in use. Too easy for it to be left up a little and cut if the handle is leaned on.

Very nice Shear,added a side table to it and working like charm along with a hold down similar to shorter models.

Well made cutter. As with all equipment, you will have to make adjustments to meet your needs. Once you have it dialed in, the shear works very well. Ideal for small fab shops. I would definitely purchase again

This is a game changer for me. I can now get straight cuts in my panels and not my hands. Cutting with a grinder, or saw, left jagged edges that had to be ground smooth. This shear makes nice smooth cuts.

I was looking for a tool to cut 20 gauge copper sheeting for enameling and this was the perfect fit. At first I was just cutting squares but found it was also great for cutting the straight edges of other shapes. The cut are super clean and I can snip the tiniest bits that make it easy to file curves. And the price was great - a small fraction of the cost of ones made specifically for jewlery.

This year came super handy for cutting out metal name plates works right out the box seems very heavy duty

Good product for the price. Cuts metal good. It says it will cut round stock up to 1/2" but unfortunately it will not.
