Handy little attic fan
10 inch With Speed & Temperature Controller
This is a quality 10-inch exhaust fan that works well for smaller spaces. First impressions were good. This unit has some heft and there's no sign of lightness that comes from super budget options. Upon opening the package, everything was packed well and in-order. It's worth reiterating the build quality, as it's really quite nice for this price point, and while the fan blades aren't single pieces (and instead are riveted in), there's no hints of flex or loosness in any of the parts. Installation is relatively simple, and the included controller is easy to use. Switching between fan speeds and turning the unit on-off is quick, and the buttons have a flexible, positive response - nothing mushy or difficult to operate. As for performance, well, it's a 10-inch fan. It does well for it's size and moves a good amount of airflow - just don't expect it to do much if you shove it in a big barn or warehouse. It's well-suited for a smaller attic or similar space, and I can say that it works wonderfully in that regard. Noise levels are also OK. It's not overly quiet, but it's certainly not the loudest fan of this size that I've used, and there's no super-annoying motor whine to deal with. As for price, I think this is a solid buy at $60. It isn't the cheapest or most expensive option, but when all of the factors are considered, this hits a nice middle ground that avoids the quality pitfalls of budget fans. Recommended.

Moves workshop air well but needs a proper place to exhaust
10 inch With Speed & Temperature Controller
I used this VEVOR fan in a removable workshop ventilation panel for a separate project area. I wanted a definite exhaust path for ordinary dusty cleanup, not a portable fan pushing the same air around. At 18 inches it's substantial, so I planned the opening and support around the fan instead of squeezing it into whatever space was available. The frame needs to be mounted square and firmly supported. I checked that before running it, because a large fan attached to a flexible panel is going to tell you about that panel. Once the assembly was secured, the housing stayed settled and I could judge the sound of the fan without a loose board adding its own rattle. I kept the intake and moving parts guarded and the area around the fan clear. The shutters are a nice feature. I can see the difference between operating and stopped positions, and I like having something at the opening instead of a bare hole. They need clearance to move freely, so I checked that panel trim and surrounding materials didn't crowd them and watched a full start and stop before calling it finished. At higher speed, the airflow is obvious. So is the sound. This is workshop equipment, and I wouldn't put it by my bed expecting small room fan noise. Variable speed is useful because I don't need the same output for every task. I turned it down for moderate air exchange and up when the work called for more movement. I made sure there was a suitable route for replacement air. An exhaust fan can't work usefully against a sealed room with nowhere for air to enter. I also kept the discharge clear of other people and shared indoor spaces. The goal was to move air outside through an appropriate route, not transfer dust or odors to somebody else's area. This isn't my answer for flammable vapors, and I wouldn't describe it as a complete fume control system for resin work just because it moves a lot of air. The material being used and the whole ventilation arrangement determine that. My use here was ordinary works

18 inch With Speed & Temperature Controller
The fan works great and was easy to install. The controller I received was trash. Out of the box it did not work. I opened the box and found a wire broken. I resoldered it. The temperature setting vague. It would run at low temps, but not at high temps. When in use and the MAX fan speed set the fan ran at roughly 3/4 the speed of being directly plugged in. This is annoying because I cannot use the controller to save money by not running the fan at all times. Would NOT recommend the controller.

Perfect for keeping my generator cool.
10 inch With Speed & Temperature Controller
I've wanted to install a fan like this in my generator box for years and finally did it! The fan looks like it's really well-built and runs nice and quiet (of course, the generator is noisy as heck!). The "flaps" open when it comes on and close when the fan goes off. Mine is plugged into the 120 volt outlet on my generator, so once I start it, it gets its power directly from the generator. The mounting bolts included didn't work for me, given the thinness of the plastic box containing the generator. I used 5/16" carriage bolts with a washer and a lock washer and it worked perfectly. I also caulked it around the edge to ensure a watertight seal. This one gets a "5-Star rating, for sure! It's easy to operate with the included switch - it can be set up go on at a specific temperature

Powerful, Well Made Fan with an Excellent Controller
12 inch With Speed & Temperature Controller
This is a really nice, well built exhaust fan and feels very solid once installed. I am using the 12 inch fan in my attic to pull warm attic air down into the garage, and it moves an impressive amount of air. The steel housing feels sturdy and the automatic louvers work exactly as they should. They open from the airflow when the fan comes on and close again when it shuts off, which keeps the opening covered when the fan is not running. For the amount of air it moves, I have also been very happy with the overall noise level. The included controller is one of my favorite features. You can set the temperature you want it to respond to as well as adjust the fan speed, which gives you a lot of control depending on how you are using it. I also really like that the fan is simply a plug in design rather than requiring complicated hard wiring. The controller can be used for automatic temperature operation, but you are not forced to use that feature if you would rather operate the fan more simply. Between the strong airflow, variable speed control, temperature settings, automatic louvers, and sturdy construction, this is a very versatile fan for an attic, garage, workshop, greenhouse, or similar space. Very impressed with the quality and performance.

VEVOR 10-Inch Shutter Exhaust Fan
10 inch With Speed & Temperature Controller
The VEVOR 10-inch wall-mounted shutter exhaust fan is aimed at spaces where you need to move hot, humid, or stale air—such as garages, workshops, attics, barns, and greenhouses. Its combination of variable speed, temperature control, automatic louvers, and steel housing makes it more versatile than a basic single-speed exhaust fan. What looks good 10-inch size: A reasonable middle ground for ventilating smaller rooms, workshops, garages, or localized areas. Variable speed: Lets you balance airflow against noise and energy use instead of running at one fixed speed. Temperature control: Particularly useful in an attic, greenhouse, or workshop where ventilation needs increase as temperatures rise. Automatic louvers: Help keep the opening closed when the fan isn't operating, which can reduce drafts and limit dust/insects entering through the opening. Steel housing: Generally preferable for durability compared with lightweight plastic housings, especially in a workshop or agricultural environment. Wall-mounted design: Makes it useful for exhausting air directly outdoors rather than simply circulating air within the room. Broad applications: The listed uses—garage, barn, greenhouse, workshop, and attic—make sense for this type of fan. Things I'd check carefully The biggest thing I'd verify is actual airflow (CFM). A 10-inch fan's physical size doesn't tell you how effectively it will ventilate a particular space. For a garage or workshop, the required airflow depends heavily on room size and what you're trying to remove. I'd also check: Actual CFM at the available speed settings Electrical requirements and whether it needs dedicated wiring Temperature-controller range and accuracy Noise level at maximum speed Whether the louvers are truly automatic and how well they seal Whether an exterior weather hood is included or required Whether the fan is appropriate for the humidity level where you intend to use it For a greenhouse, I'd also consider whether you need an intake fan

Good quality price ratio
The quality is good for the price, the controller resisted water. The thing that could be better is the fan blade. Mine broke after two months. I don’t know if it’s because I have it mounted on a truck, still for what it costs I’ll just replace the whole thing
