Voltmeter is inaccurate. Ammeter is needed. Digital readout much preferred.

Perfect for my application

I am using this in conjunction with a 2100 volt transformer for fractal burning of wood. I love the control I have with the burn, the variac is a nice addition. The variac itself is well made, the adjusting knob is smooth and tight.
