Deb A must for jewelers
A fraction of that cost a a "jewellers" microscope - love mine.

Joe's hobby workshop Great for electronic solder work.
Provides proper magnification for working with surface mount components. It leaves plenty of room for maneuvering tooling around the circuit board and, unlike camera based units, the view is three dimensional helping with dexterity. The "boom" is stable and stays where needed even when working on relatively large circuit boards.

A lens cap for the objective lens would be nice. Most people are going to leave this lens on the microscope.

What a wild difference this makes for the quality of my work. I had been putting off purchasing a microscope because of the prices but this was too good to pass up.

Andre The value you get is superb!
And i was happily amazed that i could get a good microscope for this price. You get everything nicely packaged. And it all worked super fine! I ordered it all the way to Norway and it was still immaculate.
