I used this to regrout a kitchen floor using sanded tile. My previous float was a gray rubber that was smooth. This one has some texture to it so I wasn't sure how well it would work but the texture didn't seem to make any difference in the smoothness of the final grout. It's stiff enough to force grout deep into the groove yet flexible enough to compensate for slight differences in tile heights. The construction feels solid and I expect this to last me quite a while.

This is the perfect tool for putting in grout. It glides effortlessly and looks really great when it's finished.

I am new to tiling and have only used floats with a smooth surface. I like this float's grip surface because it helps remove the unused grout as I'm working.

I started to do ceramic tiles and did not have this tool..and had difficulties in doing properly the grouting..it did not look good..but once I started to use this tool..WOW..different story. Using this tool when grouting make it look not only good, but professional.

If you’re a Mason you need one of these in your tool kit and this will do the job just fine. Works great does its job. It’s nothing fancy it cleans good I’ve used this for awhile and it’s holding up fine. Product came as shown. It’s a few bucks cheaper here than my Local Home Depot so it saves a few bucks and a trip.
