This seemed like a great idea to collect dust on my plaster wall sanding project to avoid decorating my house white. However, it turned out very dissatisfying. The positives of this device are a few and would include ease to assemble and appearance and price. The negatives include heavy - I did four walls and a ceiling. I felt like I was just spared with Mike Tyson in the ring after the job. This machine is heavy! The suction worked great on the first wall, but then after that, it seemed not to work. I checked all possible reasons but was stumped. I was sanding plaster walls to prepare for painting and needed to change pads for each wall. Additionally, the instruction guide is horrible. Pictures are not clear, and the explanations are vague. I could not figure out what the spring that came with the product was used for. Looked like the spring should connect the machine to the handle but the handle has a clear attachment site, but not the machine, Ugh! I tried to save money but got screwed again. I suppose the best type of machine is one that hooks to a vacuum.
