Nice vise
Read some other comments before I bought. So when I got it, I broke it down cleaned and lubricanted it. After reassembling it has worked great.

HEAVY Duty
Did I mention it is beefy! Essentially everything is cast iron. No directions, but the only assembly are the two handles. I don't know why both handles are different sizes. I don't think it matters, but I did have to do some headscratching before installing the handles.

Solid value, but has some flaws
For the money, it's a solid slide that needs some work. Be advised on the handles: there should be 40 hash marks on each handle, each hash mark measuring 0.10 mm of movement on the slide. Instead, I counted 39 hash marks on the large handle, and 38 hash marks on the smaller handle. So you'll need to do some math for multiple turns of the handle.

Milling Table
This is a great, heavy, little milling table.

Perfect for my diy metal lathe.
Used this as the x and y for my home made metal lathe. Replaced the largest green and yellow slide table with the linear rod bearings for this one with dovetail ways and all my issues went away. No more chatter. I can turn hardened stainless shafts 12 inches around with no problem with a simple spindle and this slide table bolted to an I-beam. I definitely recommend for any milling work.

Effective Work Table for the Price
Heavy duty. Smooth movement. Sufficient adjustments. Good value. Highly recommend.

Very well made....
Out of the box, I adjusted the gibs to reduce all play in the ways. Mounted it on drill press. Machined a small steel object. WORKS GREAT! Very well made for the money......even for more money. Only improvement would be to put better, more accurate 'dials' on the 'x' and 'y' axis'. Other than that, well worth the price.

Works fine, esp for this price. Requires some prep work after receiving.
If you want a simple work table to use, especially for your drill press, this is a great table to consider and purchase. I found it to be accurate enough for what I am going to do with it. Is this something to use a professional machine shop and for cranking out a ton of parts? No -- but that should be apparent by the price point. The table requires some prep work once it arrives. This is what I did:1) Unwrapped and sprayed it down with brake cleaner to get all the nasty oil/grease off2) Disassembled the entire unit and sprayed it down again3) Took a wire brush to all the channels and guide areas to remove excess paint4) Sanded down the top deck to make sure it was truly flat5) Filed down all the spacers in the channel guides to remove any burrs6) Took a dremel with a sanding drum and knocked down all the edges7) Reassembled and greased the guides
