Happy customer
So far so good. The assembly was straight forward. The included flange was easily welded onto section of pipe to mount unit onto. The housing of the turbine is metal which I guess I wasn't expecting. Appears well made. Overall very pleased with the product. So here is a update. Have noticed an increased amount of battery charge in the mornings. Average of about a volt. I do live in a dependably breezy area. Very pleased. I will be getting another of these before adding more panels to our system. So update. Customer service is exllent was able to get some replacement blades.

Dis you know were i can get the base for the pole?
I still can get the adapter to affix the wind turbine to the Pole, can someone point me were to find it , or i need to make my own?

The location that you place the mill is very criticle to the operating times.
This windmill is eventually going on my 49' trimaran sailboat that is currently under construction. Along with solar cells spread out over the wings she will augment the charging capabilities of my battery banks.

Buy The Mounting Pole With It.
Definitely one very cool machine. Talk about very easy to install as well. I’d recommend buying the mounting pole if you can find one. I ended up going to the HardWare Store and bought 2, 10 foot by 2 inch galvanized steel piping sections and used a coupling that fit very tightly inside of each pole and was able to pound them together and then happened to find a flange that fit the cog of the wind generator perfectly. Bolted it on the pipe and ran the wires down so they popped out of the pipe just below ground level and buried the bottom end and wires in the ground. Then for reinforcement I strapped 3/4 of the pole to the side of the house with metal strapping and had it go up about 5 feet above the peak of the roof. Seems to work great but haven’t had any really strong winds yet. Time will tell. I recommend this product for sure.

200 watts bench test
Hooked it up to multimeter and impact drill. Mine produces about 80 volts at 2 amps. So about 200 watts? I am not for sure on the calculation, but for the price per watt, it is a better bang for buck than solar. Now I just need some wind.
