I used for the first time today on my 2006 Honda CRV for decarbonization and injector cleaning. It worked very well but...before I could put it to use I had to dismantle the threaded coupling and run a Snap on tool M8 re-threader die thru it. The thread quality was poor, as if manufactured with a dull tool at the factory or plated and the plating was clogging the threads, either way a quick run thru with the re-threader die, re-assempled coupling and it worked great. The other item of modification was removing the male side quick coupling and putting on a USA standard one to match the air hose couplings I use in my shop. They had the fitting glued in and I had to carefully use two wrenches, one on the fitting and one on the metal above the pressure regulator, so as not to break the plastic the regulator is made of. I first ran gasoline in it back into the gas can while not connected to the car, to ensure no metal or debris from the factory in the assembly. I was quite pleased to find a Honda adapter pipe and block off cap, which I assembled and inserted into the gas supply line from the fuel pump. It held- no problem and no leaks = no fires under the hood. Now I am sure it will meet my needs and be easily used the next time. Quality is sufficient for a DIY former dealership mechanic that keeps his hand under the hood to make sure he still has what it takes.
