Best Bang For The Buck!
I purchased the Vevor (the identical machine is sold under a variety of brand names) digital control ultrasonic cleaner over a year ago and find it offers the best results of any other machine I’ve tried, and that includes the VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine that I’ve had for over 25 years. The problem with any machine that uses brushes is that even if designed for the purpose, the bristles are too large to effectively clean the bottom of the grooves, although they generally do a good job on larger amounts of contamination on the surface. Unfortunately, it is deep in the grooves where the music is retrieved during playback, so it’s a less than perfect solution. This is where the ultrasonic cleaners can do a superior job, with their ability to thoroughly reach all parts of the record, including the grooves. With that said, record cleaning machines like the VPI and others work great for pre-cleaning grungy records prior to ultrasonic cleaning. There are many ultrasonic record cleaners machines on the market, some costing as much as $6,500, and I’d like to discuss the pros and cons of some of them, compared with this one. Many of the ultrasonic cleaners available (especially those considered 'high-end') focus on their simplicity and ease-of-use. Unfortunately, that typically doesn’t yield the best results. For example, many (including a $6,500 machine) use tap water (the use of tap water seems nonsensical to me, given the various impurities that exist in it, although some do specify the use of distilled water instead) as a cleaning solution, expressly forbidding the use of any other chemicals. One of them, the HumminGuru®, specifically recommends on its webpage to use distilled water only, yet it is stated in a review of the machine on another audio website (Sound Matters) that “For the best results (and this goes for any ultrasonic record cleaning machine), you’ll need to add a little surfactant to break the water surface tension. Without surfactant, the water strugg

So Far Meeting Expectations
Upon arrival the on/off rocker switch on the back was broken, hence the 4 stars. Rather than go through the hassle and time of a return I ordered a replacement switch on Amazon and installed it myself. Regarding the record cleaning, it is meeting my expectations. All of my albums were done with the SpinClean system but the ultrasonic seems to open up the sound a bit. It obviously won't fix damage but it did resurrect some the my albums that I had written off as unplayable. It will be handy to have an ultrasonic cleaner for other tasks around the house as well.

Works as advertised
I have used this item to clean my vinyl records and it works great at cleaning. The only drawback is the labels do get some water on them, maybe a rubber seal on the plastic separator disks would help.

Long time vinyl lover
Nice package. I've only cleaned 3 batches with 0 problems so far. Cleans bargain bin finds as well as records ive had for 50+ years. I even run brand new records through before spinning. Drying rack is very useful. The only problem I encountered is the setscew for the spindle is a little short. I really had to dig to find a replacement with same thread count. It still comes loose after 30 minute run time but it doesn't stop turning. I would buy it again. You can't beat it for the money.

Take your time and check/ change the solution often
Plastic disc holes were too tight on the shaft and cracked after the 1st use (see pics). All other parts worked as expected.

Good setup, especially for the money.
I have used a record vacuum before on some of my used disc's, and it was effective but was not good at removing fingerprints or other oily deposits. This works very well for that. I used distilled water and tergitol at 36c, Followed by distilled water and isopropyl alcohol to remove the tergitol. The amount of sediment left in the bottom of the tank was proof to me that this was much more effective than vacuuming.

Works as advertised
It cleans the vinyl record and reduce cracking notices. The key is the solution to be used. I used distilled water, 2 caps full of spin clean solution, and a cap of photo-flo, 20 min. Rince after with distilled water. So far I had cleaned over 100 records.

Works great!
Sure it's a bit loud, but it works great. For really dirty albums I run them through the spin clean and then into the ultrasonic. Vinyl comes very clean. Highly recommend.
