Good product. Needs to be cleaned at least once a week.

This airstill works great, I wish it had a thermometer to tell me the temperature inside though.

This product does take a long time to make multiple jugs of water. Basically if you plan to make more than one jug of water you will have the product running all day. To me it's worth it because I don't have to have tons of empty jugs around to recycle. Also saves money in the long run plus I know it's really distilled water and not just water they dumped in a jug.

I bought this so I can distill my own water for different needs I have. No more stocking up or leaky weak bottles sitting around. I just plugged it in and went to bed. Next morning, I had distilled water. Super easy to figure out. The directions are kinda vague.

We have awfully hard water, so we prefer to use distilled water in both our nugget icemaker and the coffee maker. Then, of course, there are things like irons, humidifiers, and steamers. We use a LOT of distilled water in our house! That said, the price of bottled distilled water has doubled in the past few years, so this, along with our increased consumption of it, led me to think there had to be a better way! Amazon to the rescue! After reading reviews of several water distillers, I decided on this one. It arrived quickly, came well packaged, and was easy to set up and use. Filling the container with water to the fill line marked inside of it will yield about a gallon or so of distilled water. Each cycle takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete. It came with a small plastic jar of \"cleaning crystals\" (citric acid), which is pure magic for cleaning this thing because the leftover stuff in the bottom of this distiller and dried up along the sides after you distill a gallon (give or take a little) will disgust you. Yes, that stuff is IN your water! You only need about 1/8th of a teaspoon of the cleaner in a couple of cups of water—there's no need to refill the entire container! Let it sit for a while, then use a dish scrubber with the cleaning \"solution\" you made in the distiller to clean the sides. Rinse it out well, and you're ready to use it again! You'll need to buy more citric acid when you run out of what's in the jar included with this distiller and there's plenty to be found on Amazon! This has more than paid for itself!

The 4L Dental Medical Pure Water Distiller has been working out great for me and my very hard well water. I’ve been using the water that I have distilled with it in all of my humidifier’s and they have been clean, without any calcium deposits and residue, after each use. I have saved $$$ by using this instead buying gallons of distilled water from a store.

Set up is easy. Output for me, near sea level, was about 1 quart per hour. Some comments have complained about noice but I found it to be normal fan noise (better than average). I live in central Florida so the water contains a lot of lime. I have to top off my golf batteries frequently and for that I need distilled water. After running a couple of gallons through the left over lime was a noticable sluge. I'll need rinse it out with vinegar from time to time. It uses 750 watt and there is some heat output. The reason I didn't give this a 5 star is I have not ideal how long it will last. I have now let it run out of water and the auto cutoff works well. I would not leave it on if I'm going to be away but it does work.

This fits our needs perfectly providing us with pure distilled water. It's easy to use, clean and convenient so I can run it through the night without any worries. Overall a great product that I highly recommend.

We have loved this distiller from day one. Unbelievably easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store. However, we use this no less than 3 times a week. We prefer distilled water for cooking, we use it for our steam mop, coffee maker and iron. We have a family member who uses an oxygen machine and one who has a C-pap so we got them one also and they love theirs too. I can’t say enough nice things about it! Use your white vinegar to clean it…no need for anything fancy. Don’t use any abrasives on the inside steel…it will scratch it and it really doesn’t need it, the vinegar will desolve the calcium completely. I highly recommend it.
