Machinist by trade. Wanted something to use on my personal drill press and every other "drill press vise" on the market isnt worth purchasing IMO. For the money this is a great purchase and is very comparable to most other drill press vises. It's fairly heavy so make sure your table will support the weight. Will definitely purchase again.

I needed a smaller milling vise. I gave this one a chance and am glad I did. I love it. Most of what I mill is smaller and this vice spend most of its time being on the table and working. The 6” vice sits on the bench a lot.

I bought the 4” and this little guy punches way above its price point. Packing grease cleaned up easily. I actually had to mount it twice. It comes with slot keys that were too wide for my mill table slots. So I mounted and trued it up. Then milled off .020” off each side of the keys. ( only the potion that’s in the slots). I removed the vise and installed the keys. It fit the slots perfect. I then reinstalled it again. I was able to dial it in to less than .0002” runout side to side. I then milled a slot in a scope base. This vise held the part secure and the slot came out perfect. I highly recommend this vise. I’m using it on Grizzly G0759 bench mill.

I have to admit I was on the fence whether to buy this vice and only gave it a 4 star for Quality because of all the the sharp edges .I stoned all the sharp edges off . And I am really surprised at the overall Quality on this vice for the price it is really good .I would buy again. Vice of this calliper elsewere would be a lot more expensive.
