Easy to use!
Definitely, the easiest machine to use! All the pieces look overwhelming at first but the instructions were clear and I had it set up in 3 minutes. The quality of the buttons are very good and people love 'em!

The product works great I've used it for three different occasions since April and no problems. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. If I had to I would purchase it again.

Takes a bit of practice but a great little machine
If you assemble it correctly and take a moment to read the insteuctions and UNDERSTAND THEM before starting, you will really get a better go at this. The machine works well and is a great value since it comes with pieces to make 1000 buttons. Now, I have had an 11% fail rate, and I do take the time to run the steps through smoothly, it seems to be a failure between the sealing of the plastic to the metal piece in the first step. I've made about 230 and I've had about 27 flop straight from the machine or eventually come apart becore getting in the designated baggie. It's still a really cool machine to learn with and if its for hobby purposes and to do smaller batches at once it is a great deal.

Absolutely perfect for hobby or professional use!
Bought this as a birthday present for my girlfriend and she absolutely fell in love with it. She now sells her buttons on commission and out of an Etsy store, and she has made enough from that to have made the Button Maker pay for itself! Extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Making buttons is one of my favorite activities!
This is a review by my 10 year old son. It鈥檚 very easy to use. All you got to do is put a few pieces together, and then once your done you have to push the lever all the way down. If you don鈥檛, your button will be broken. It鈥檚 a lot of money but I bought the $139 one and it gave you a lot of buttons to make. You can print a design, draw a picture, use stickers, or a stamp. This is a cool machine that I use with my friends. I highly recommend!

Great, Affordable Button Maker
No idea where the negative review people are coming from. Cardboard base? No, it's plastic covered in a protective brown paper film. Quite easy to use, might consider bolting it down or clamping it to make it more sturdy. I've been using this to make buttons for work and I haven't had many problems, but I do think the plastic backs are a little cheap, would prefer a metal back or a sturdier pin at least.

Awesome Product!
This button maker is awesome. It was a little confusing to figure out how to use at first but one I figured it out it was smooth sailing from there. I use this button maker a lot for local bands and it works great.

Cheap and easy
We used this button maker for our library summer reading program. After a little bit of a learning curve, we found it easy to make buttons to give to the kids for achieving their reading challenges. I used a 1.25 inch punch, and didn't even bother using the included cutter based on other reviews. We had teen volunteers create most of the buttons and found that you have to align everything just right in order to get a button that worked properly. It worked best to put the clear plastic and the paper together before putting on the metal backing. Also, there was a higher fail rate when we were sitting and making the buttons vs. standing. Not sure why, maybe it's a factor of the angle of how you pull down the lever? But we only had about a couple dozen fail out of the hundreds we made, so I call it a win. Plus the kids were so excited to earn the buttons that we are definitely going to make many more.
