The pump motor is extremely durable; I have been using it continuously for a year and mechanically it hasn't lost any power. The issue is that, after this year of service, the electronic float wand (the water level sensor attachment) failed due to wear and tear.
Currently, the moment I connect the float's cylindrical plug to the pump, the system locks up and assumes the water bottle is empty even when it is completely full. To avoid losing the equipment entirely, the only workaround has been to leave the float disconnected. While the main product is good, it is disappointing that the safety/auto-shutoff system fails this quickly due to sensor obsolescence. Now it has to be operated under manual supervision.

ets the job done as intended. It's not fancy equipment, so you'll want to hide it away. Ideally somewhere isolated, since it does make some noise (I ended up putting mine in a cabinet, which helped a lot). That said, I was expecting worse noise levels, so that was a pleasant surprise. This was my first DIY unit, and after about 12 months of use, an issue came up. VEVOR sent me a replacement with no hassle at all, which says a lot about their customer service. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for something functional without breaking the bank.
