Needed to replace a shop model, not the ol' Foley Belsaw, but remarkably solid good machine for the moneyy these days!

Works well. The dust outlet is an odd size so its hard to adapt to a dust collector.

I was skeptical when buying this. I read some of the bad reviews and thought this could suck. But it was Prime Day, I got a deal and figured I return it if I needed.Well, I haven't experienced any of the issues those bad reviews had. I'm impressed by this equipment.Out of the box, it's almost ready to go. The instructions SUCK... wow are they bad. Very small to read, and poorly translated to English. But, I have an engineering degree so I figured it out.So far, I've planed about 400 board feet and it works like a champ. A couple of flaws I've noticed.1- the stand is short. I'm tall so I'd like it 8-12 inches higher.2- the vacuum interface is worthless. The shavings get caught and accumulate at the opening and clog. I ended up removing the vacuum piece and putting on the included open piece, but even to open piece clogged. After every few boards, I'd stop to clear it.So far, those are the only flaws I've discovered. I'm a hobbyist, so for the money, this thing is perfect for me.

Good quality for the price, not necessarily the best for fine wood working but works good for rustic projects

Have only used a couple of times seems to work well but there were no instructions as far as set up, maintenance put stand together replace parts sure could use them

This machine works well. The setting gauge is a little lard to read but is a real nice machine

I've never used a planer, so I found this one easy to set up and use as a beginner. There is a full set of extra blades, adapters for common dust collector systems, and a few tools included with the planer.The only part I didn't like was the incredibly short stand. When I set the planer on it, the infeed was just above my knees. It really needs to be at least a foot taller, and 15" would be even better. I solved the problem by swapping stands with another tool I had.

Works great

I thought the price for the planer was great. I have used it a number of times without any problems. When planing hardwoods you can only take off a very little at a time. If you try to overdue the job, the planer will likely pop the circuit. It is amazingly easy to use. I would buy it again!!
